Fortimark

Most firms hand your work onward. This one keeps it.

Eight people, four regions, one team that holds the mark, the site, the search, the spend and the reply for every client on the list. Everything below is either a figure you can check on this site or a behaviour you can hold us to.

Who you deal with

Both directors work on the accounts.

Director

Takes your first call, writes the positioning, and is the one you ring on the day something is going wrong.

Director

Builds it, automates the parts nobody should be doing by hand, and is still on it the week your certificate expires.

What that covers

Six disciplines, and the same people run all of them.

Hold us to these

Four things you can check after you have paid.

  • 01

You still have us in month fourteen

Month fourteen is when the dependencies have rotted, a certificate has lapsed and the copy has quietly stopped describing your business. It is also the month most firms stop replying. Somebody here is still watching your site, and you hear from them before you notice.

  • 02

Every claim here opens a live site

The work index is on this site and each entry opens something running right now. If we cannot point you at it live, it does not go on a slide and it does not go in a pitch to you.

  • 03

    You own the accounts

Domain, hosting, analytics, ad accounts, the CMS login. All of it in your name from the first week, so leaving us is an afternoon rather than a rebuild you have to budget for. Ask your current firm who your domain is registered to.

  • 04

You get the number before the opinion

Analytics gets installed and then actually read. The monthly note tells you which page loses the most people, what we think is causing it, and the one change we want to make next. It arrives in the months where nothing moved too.

Four refusals

These are the four things you will not get from us.

Every firm publishes what it does. This is the part nobody else will write down, and it is the fastest way to find out whether we are the wrong firm for you.

  • Not this

A price on the first call

A number quoted off a one-line brief is wrong in one direction or the other, and both directions cost you. The first call exists to find out which build you are actually asking for. The number comes after that.

  • Not this

    A promised ranking

Nobody controls the search index, and a firm that writes a position number into your contract is selling you something it cannot deliver. You get what we intend to change and what we expect it to do. Never a number.

  • Not this

Something that embarrasses you in a year

The dark pattern, the claim nobody can back, the shortcut that breaks on the first audit. If that is what is being asked for, you hear it on the call rather than after the invoice.

  • Not this

A site you have to pay us to edit

You get the CMS and the training call. Charging a retainer to change a phone number is a business model, not a service, and undoing that arrangement is the most common thing we are asked to do.

Tell us what you are trying to fix

Send the URL, the deck, or two sentences typed on a phone at midnight. You get our read on it before you decide whether to work with us.
